Chris Gonyea is a 37 year-old lifelong New Hampshire native, currently residing in Manchester, New Hampshire with his wife, daughter, and another child on the way.
Growing up in a small, ~700 person town in western New Hampshire, early on Chris was fascinated with technology and its ability to allow him to communicate with the outside world despite where he lived.
Determined to learn technology and how the Internet functions in order to help the world communicate, Chris throughout the years has specialized in Information Technology, Technical Support, Sales Engineering, and Product Management. He was an early Dyn employee for over 6.5 years, rising from entry-level Technical Support to leading both Support and Sales Engineering to being the lead Product Manager for Traffic Management (DNS) products. In late 2015 he joined the team at Fastly, returning to his support roots initially and then built Fastly’s Technical Account Management (TAM) team. Chris recently left Fastly and will be starting a new job soon.
He attended Southern New Hampshire University from 2000-2004 and has been a full-time resident of Manchester since 2004.
When Chris isn’t helping with the DNS or CDNs, he is a genealogist that researches his family’s history and avid sports fan of any Boston area teams. He is married to his wife Katie and is devoted to raising his daughter.
